Jab Harry Met Sejal is the most visually extravagant Imtiaz Ali film. Enjoyed it thoroughly. Very engaging. There’s a hell lot of philosophy in his films. There are so many subtexts. I watched it twice on Netflix on the same day, again the next day and then again after a day, that’s how much I loved it. My favourite Imtiaz Ali film. It’s a nice rom-com with some really good music. The musical like treatment makes it so beautiful. A heart touching and an emotional cinematic experience. A very feel good film. It’s a true-blue Imtiaz Ali film. Flawless direction. Loved the visual storytelling. Well written. Well shot. I like the editing and production design.

Songs with well written lyrics are the heart of the film. The way Imtiaz Ali uses the songs is fantastic. Every song has a meaning. I already loved the songs. After watching the film and knowing the meaning behind the songs, it changed my perspective towards the songs. I am all the more addicted to the album. The performances are superb. SRK and Anushka Sharma share a lovely chemistry. The film belongs to both. Both are fabulous. Both of them portray the emotions wonderfully. SRK is clearly the headmaster of the school of Romance and you are definitely going to fall in love with Sejal. Imtiaz Ali films are such that you enjoy watching them again and again. This is one of them. Every time you watch you fall in love with it even more and discover something new about it.
