About Us
Welcome to Infinite08Filmverse
Infinite Eight Filmverse is an independent platform for Cinema, of Cinema and by Cinema, founded by Aaditya Vinayak Bagwe with a vision to make writing about the entire cinematic universe an art, a piece of literature to be read, discussed and debated upon, stemming from love for cinema and an inherent passion for writing. It is a very democratic and free platform. Here you will be finding all my pieces of writings about films that I have written in the past. It is from here that I will be building up further with my writings about films that I watch in the future.
The USP of this platform is my Infinite08view, my own unique style of writing about films. It is not a typical out and out Film Review so the term ‘Infinite08view’. A form of creative expression, raw, unfiltered, explicit, honest and straightforward. Beyond an average review. Having no format, no limitations, no boundaries, no rules, no ratings, being completely flexible. Having unlimited fun! I can take my writings into any direction, write and watch whatever I feel like. So expect the unexpected. It is the expression and creativity that matters irrespective of the language and form.
The journey began in 2015 from my film institute. We were put into the practice of watching films, analyzing films, discussing films, writing film reports, studying the work and style of different filmmakers, which helped me develop an eye for cinema. It taught me how to watch films. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all my mentors and teachers, to seek their blessings for my venture.
I started writing about films on Facebook. Casual posts about films turning into film reviews. For me it has always been about expression irrespective of the format. Be it verbally be it in writing. I can talk about films for hours at stretch. What is it that I feel after watching a film? How creatively I can express myself after watching a film is what I explore through my writings.
After reading my film writings on Facebook I was approached by Pop Diaries, an entertainment website to write film reviews for them in 2017. I have worked for them for 10 months. I have written 34 film reviews out of which excerpts from two of my reviews have featured on film posters.
“Infinite Eight Filmverse is my multiverse of writings about films, web series and the entire cinematic universe.”
In 2018, I was back to writing on social media. This time I started writing about films on Twitter. While I was putting up my last writing in December 2021 I got the idea that instead of putting my writings on social media why not have my own platform for my film writings? Having my own platform would allow me to take a structured approach by organizing my writings in a better way, giving me an identity and helping me reach out to the right kind of audience. Also giving a wider reach to my writings.
Writing about films after watching them is very instinctive for me and it is something that interests me. Writing is my strength. I can do it effortlessly. Capitalizing on my strength and my love for cinema led to the inception of Infinite Eight Filmverse in 2022.
