Coolie No. 1 or David Dhawan No. 1?

Happiness is…….. Watching a David Dhawan film. Thoroughly enjoyed. Laughed my heart out. It has to be David Dhawan’s most entertaining film among his recent films. It is a complete joyride. Varun Dhawan is at the top of his game. He is phenomenal with his comic timing. Entertains you like a boss. Sara Ali Khan is fantastic. She is sizzling hot and steals the show with her performance. She is undoubtedly the next superstar. Reminds me so much of Karishma Kapoor. Varun and Sara’s chemistry is fire. The casting is superb. With such veteran comedians like Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, Johnny Lever, Jaaved Jaaferi, the film becomes all the more fun. Shikha Talsania is super cute and performs exceptionally well. Sahil Vaid is fun to watch like always.

The music of the film is catchy and foot tapping. I loved it. I even liked the production design, the costumes, the styling, the sets. The look of the film is very colourful and eye pleasing. The background music and sound design is on point. The background music is peppy, it has that 90’s feel. It keeps you hooked. The dialogues are fun and well written. It’s a well-made entertainer. Totally worth it. I wish it had released in theaters. It’s a full on dhamaaka!

This was the opium that I was looking for and now I am high on entertainment. 😆
